먼 미래의 지구, 여러 차례의 유성의 충돌로 인해 지상의 생물들은 바다로 들어가 작은 미소생물에게 먹혀 무기물이 된다. 그것이 쌓여 보석의 몸을 가진 인간형의 생물이 태어난다. 28명의 보석들은 자신들을 장식품으로 쓰기 위해 침략하는 월인(月人)들과 싸운다.
