고교생이 된 우유부단 소년 유우키 리토는 어느 날 외계에서 왔다는 소녀인 라라를 만나 소동에 휘말리게 된다. 그 소동이 있은 다음날 리토는 오랜 시간 좋아해 왔던 소녀인 사이렌지 하루나를 만나게 된다. 결심하고 그녀에게 고백하려 했지만 그 마음은 전해지지 않았고, 애꿎게도 외계인이자 데빌룩 성의 왕녀인 라라 사타린 데빌룩에게 고백한 꼴이 되어버린다. 그리하여 소년 유우키 리토는 순 오해로 데빌룩 성의 차기 왕위계승자가 되어버린 것이다.
