숨겨진 풀마을의 극비 임무에 대해 토론을 하고 있던 호가케들.
그러나 도중 한 명의 시노비가 그들을 습격했다.
어떻게든 습격자를 격퇴한 호가케는, 그 범인을 나루토라고 증언하고,
호가케는 나루토를 인용의 감금 시설 「귀등성」에 연행하도록 명령한다.
「귀등성」에 끌려온 나루토는 거기서 성주 와 숨겨진 마을의 음모에 휘말린다.
