칸바라 타쿠야는 축구를 좋아하는 초등학교５학년의 남학생.
어느날 우연히 입수한 휴대 전화에서 불가사의한 메시지의 메일을 받고는
뭔가를 직감하여 자신도 모르게 어느 한 지하철에 올라타게 된다.
그 지하철에는 타쿠야처럼 메일에 이끌려서 오게 된 다른 아이들도 타고 있었고
어느새 디지털 월드를 향해 가게 되어 버리고 여기서 타쿠야는 전설의 십투사가 갖고 있던
스피리츠(정신)에 관련된 이야기를 듣게 되는데.
